Course reserves are materials set aside by instructors for students in Chemeketa's classes. Reserves may be physical items kept behind the Circulation Desk, such as books or videos, or they may be electronic, such as articles or short readings.

All reserves, including electronic ones, can be looked up by course number or instructor name in the Primo library search.

You will need your Chemeketa ID card to use reserve items at the Circulation Desk. Most physical reserves (books, DVDs, etc.) may be checked out for in-library use only. Some items may be available for longer checkout periods and may be taken home. Yamhill Valley Campus provides one reserve book for every class taught on campus. These reserve items geneally check out for two hours and are in-building use only.

There are several kinds of library textbook reserves. They check out for different periods of time and are identified by different call numbers. An explanation is available: Library Textbook Reserves Explained

To access electronic reserves, you will need to click on the link in the catalog, then log into the reserves server using your My Chemeketa user name and password.
